Rich served as a volunteer coach for 6 years and area director for three years until his company gradually assumed management responsibilities in 1995. GABL has grown from a winter league for 2,200 3rd through 8th grade Shawnee Mission boys to a year-round  program for over 8,000 boys and girls throughout Kansas City from preschool through high school.
