SMA Sports Inks Deal with Jr. NBA

October 1, 2019, KANSAS CITY

Sports Management Associates, LC has been retained by the Jr. NBA to manage their Kansas City operations for the Jr. NBA 3v3 National Championships. Teams from Kansas City and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to compete in four qualifying events in hopes to win their division and move on the Kansas City Regional Finals on March 7-8, 2020. The Champions of the Kansas City Regional divisions will move on to the National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 4, 2020. The tournament is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams. No participants can be 15 years of age before April 5, 2020. There is a 5th grade division that will be offered in Kansas City but they will not be eligible for the National Championships.

Every participating team will receive Jr. NBA jerseys courtesy of Under Armour and all representing teams from Kansas City that make it to the National Championships will receive full uniforms. All teams that move on to Indianapolis will receive three hotel rooms at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis at no charge plus there is no additional entry into the event.

Qualifying Jr. NBA tournaments in Kansas City are scheduled to held December 28, 2019, January 20, February 17 and March 1, 2020. The Kansas City Regional Finals will be held on March 7-8, 2020.
